AI Powered Marketing 
Artificial Intelligence is transforming marketing across every channel. It can help businesses run smarter marketing campaigns, personalise customer experiences, and make quicker, data driven decisions. The challenge many marketers face is integrating these tools effectively while keeping enough human touch to drive creativity and genuine connection. After all, that’s what makes marketing really work.
As AI churns out more content every day, it begs the question: are some marketers leaning too heavily on it? Is originality starting to take a back seat?
Sustainability 
Sustainability is no longer optional. Consumers expect brands to act responsibly, it’s as simple as that. Marketing teams are increasingly focused on communicating genuine environmental and social initiatives, from eco friendly campaigns to ethical brand messaging.
Authenticity is key. Businesses that embrace this both in practice and communication build stronger trust and loyalty amongst their audience.
A 2024 PwC Survey found that consumers are willing to spend an average of 9.7% more on sustainably produced or sourced goods, even amid cost of living concerns.
Skill Gaps 
Marketing roles are evolving rapidly, with many businesses struggling to fill specialist positions in areas such as digital strategy, automation, analytics, and platform expertise. These gaps can slow campaigns and limit growth.
Marketing Week’s 2025 Career & Salary Survey found over half of marketers (56.9%) see a gap in performance marketing skills, with further gaps in social media (46.1%), ecommerce (41.3%) and content skills (40.6%).
Upskilling existing teams or partnering with external experts is becoming critical to maintain marketing performance and deliver consistent results.
